I Lost My Gig Canada launched its first COVID-19 Impact Survey for individual workers in the arts in Canada in March 2020.

Cancellations and postponements due to COVID-19 pandemic are still having unprecedented impacts in Canada – closing arts and culture venues and heritage institutions as well as uprooting the livelihoods and careers of artists and other freelance workers.

If you run an organization in the arts, culture, heritage, tourism, or creative industries, I Lost My Gig Canada invites you to share your organization’s COVID-19 story and impacts by completing the following short survey.

There is an urgent need to gather broad and accurate data on the losses sustained by organizations in arts and culture.

With your help, the goal of this survey is to capture a wide array of stories that tell how diverse organizations in the sector are impacted, what has helped them respond or recover, and what is still needed to ensure Canadian arts and culture continues to survive and thrive into the future.

COVID-19 Impact Survey is a collaborative effort between I Lost My Gig Canada (incubated by ArtsPond), Groundstory (incubated by ArtsPond and Roseneath Theatre), Hill Strategies Research, and other community partners, with the support of Government of Canada (I Lost My Gig Canada) and Canada Council for the Arts (Groundstory).
