News Release: Government Introduces Canada Response Benefit

As apart of the COVID-19 Economic Response Plan, the Federal Government has proposed a legislation to establish the Canada Emergency Response Benefit. This is a taxable benefit that would provide $2,000/month for up to four months for workers who have lost their income. This benefit is also applicable to contract workers and self-employed individuals.
